Top Ten .... American Classic

Last night’s Top Ten list was “Top Ten Special Top Ten Lists,” which was a compilation of favorite Top Ten lists and video clips of celebrities reading the lists as Letterman begins hosting his final episodes. CBS’ Paul Shaffer said, “This is saying goodbye to really one of America’s classic, most beloved favorites.” Letterman said, “First of all, it will be back tomorrow, and secondly, it’s just something we do to kill time” (“Late Show,” CBS, 4/27).
