Reds Manager Bryan Price Targets Media In Profanity-Laced Rant

Reds manager Bryan Price yesterday "went on a five-minute, 34-second expletive-filled tirade" about media coverage in his daily session with reporters ahead of an away game against the Brewers. Upset by reports about C Devin Mesoraco not traveling with the team over the weekend, Price said, "I don't know what the importance is for everyone to know if we have a player that's not here." The rant contained "77 uses of the 'F' word or a variant and 11 uses of a vulgar term for feces." Read a full transcript of the tirade (CINCINNATI ENQUIRER, 4/21).
