Laugh Track....Kind Of Blue

NBC’s Jimmy Fallon said, “I want to say congrats to the Duke Blue Devils who defeated the Wisconsin Badgers last night to win the National Championship. It was a tough loss for Wisconsin fans but I don’t think any of them looked sadder than this guy. ... Just when you thought a grown man in a Teletubby costume couldn’t get any sadder, that went and happened” (“The Tonight Show,” NBC, 4/7).

Comedy Central’s Larry Wilmore said, “A big shoutout to the Duke Blue Devils who won the NCAA basketball tournament last night. By the way, in response to the big win, police cars were overturned, there was rioting and giant garbage fires were set and that was just by me because the Duke win means I will host a show dressed from head to toe in spandex. The ‘Dare-Y Wilmore's March Badness Bracketsball Dare-o-Mania 2015: It's boner-time!’ challenge is over, and I will serve my punishment this Thursday.” Wilmore added, “I should also take a moment to acknowledge Stanford University, who won the NIT men's basketball tournament, which means that I will also have to host the show completely not giving a (EXPLETIVE) about the NIT tournament” (“The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore,” Comedy Central, 4/7).
