Twins Hold Open House For Fans At Renovated Spring Training Home

At least 4,000 fans attended an open house yesterday at the Twins' renovated Spring Training home at CenturyLink Sports Complex in Ft. Myers, Fla. Upgrades include "Hammond Stadium's new grand entrance" (Ft. Myers NEWS-PRESS, 2/23).

Meanwhile, around 25,000 fans attended the D-Backs' Subway Fan Fest at Chase Field, "now in its 11th year." D-Backs players "made their way from a morning workout at Salt River Fields to downtown Phoenix to join them" (MLB.com, 2/22).

The lines for Marlins tickets were “longer than the past two mid-February Winter Warmup events (previously known as FanFest).” The team has already “surpassed last year’s season-ticket sales count of 5,000” (MIAMI HERALD, 2/22).
