Michigan Regents To Vote On Site-Clearing Phase Of New Facility

The Univ. of Michigan athletic department is "moving forward with its plans to erect a 310,000-square-foot multi-use facility for its Division I Olympic sports complex." The UM Board of Regents today will vote on whether to approve the $2.4M demolition and abatement of the site. In order to complete the $168M project, the "next step in the process is finding a company to demolish" the industrial/office building on the site (MLIVE.com, 2/16).
