TNT's Barkley, Smith Visit Late Night Shows Ahead Of NBA All-Star

TNT’s NBA studio team was making the media rounds last night ahead of NBA All-Star Weekend, as Kenny Smith was on NBC’s “Late Night” and Charles Barkley made an appearance on NBC’s “The Tonight Show.” Smith said, “Everyone thinks I'm like LeBron James and have tickets to everything, like, ‘I'm not playing, I'm only announcing the game.’” Host Seth Meyers said, “Tell us what you think about the Knicks.” Smith: “Okay, next subject” (“Late Night With Seth Meyers,” NBC, 2/11).

Barkley appeared on NBC’s “The Tonight Show” along with actor Hugh Grant and host Jimmy Fallon. The trio teed off into a virtual reality fairway and then played “hallway golf,” racing each other to get their golf ball in the hole first. As Barkley was teeing off, he started laughing, and Fallon said, “You can’t laugh at yourself before you swing.” Barkley replied, “I’ve got no idea what’s going to happen here.” Grant added, “This is funny, I have seen this swing” (“The Tonight Show,” NBC, 2/11).
