Night Moves....Double Pump

Last night’s 1:00am ET edition of ESPN’s “SportsCenter” led with Rockets-Clippers, which led into the broadcast, followed by NBA injury updates, Grizzlies-Thunder and Pacers-Pelicans. The first report on Tiger Woods announcing an indefinite leave from golf aired 12 minutes into the broadcast. Last night’s edition of FS1’s “Fox Sports Live” also led with Rockets-Clippers, followed by Hawks-Celtics, Warriors-T’Wolves and Heat-Cavaliers. FS1 aired a report on Woods 18 minutes into their telecast.

ESPN’s Keith Olbermann called out his “world’s worst” persons in sports: The person who threw a pitch at an elderly batter during the Rockies fantasy baseball camp. Olbermann also derided Yankees 3B Alex Rodriguez, “who has apologized” to the Yankees, but then started the segment over because Olbermann is “already tired of him.” Olbermann then blasted a Clarkson Univ. hockey player for checking an opponent and shattering the glass in the process, and L.A.-area KABC-ABC for misspelling “Columbus” two different ways during a report on the Kings-Blue Jackets game.
