Zurich Insurance Makes Lexi Thompson Its First Female Endorser

Zurich Insurance Group has named Lexi Thompson to its golf ambassador roster, marking the company's first endorsement deal with a female golfer. Financial terms of the multiyear deal were not disclosed, but Thompson will wear the Zurich logo on her left sleeve during competition and will help Zurich grow its women’s golf initiatives. Zurich is the title sponsor of the PGA Tour’s event in New Orleans. The company currently sponsors several players on the PGA Tour, including Justin Rose, Rickie Fowler, Keegan Bradley, Jason Day, Billy Horschel and Ben Crane. Thompson last year won her first LPGA major title at the Kraft Nabisco Championship.
