German broadcaster ARD has “agreed to show the Tour de France live this year, ending a three-year hiatus it had blamed on doping scandals.” ARD suspended coverage during the ’07 Tour de France, “when there were five doping cases in three weeks,” and pulled live coverage in ’12 (BLOOMBERG NEWS, 1/7).
