Super Bowl Countdown Clock Unveiled; Fan Fest Acts Announced

The Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee this week unveiled the First Solar Countdown Clock as the "newest element to Super Bowl Central" ahead of the Feb. 1 game. The 13-foot-tall, nine-foot-wide clock stands in downtown Phoenix and "counts down the days, hours, minutes and seconds until kickoff." The clock "also will display updated video content." A 20-foot-tall football was unveiled in Phoenix last month (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 12/4).

Meanwhile, organizers announced that the DirecTV Super Fan Festival in Glendale will feature performances from Zac Brown Band, Calvin Harris, Imagine Dragons, Snoop Dogg and other artists in the three days leading up to Super Bowl XLIX. StubHub is the exclusive ticket partner for the event at the Pendergast Family Farm (THE DAILY).
