Salt River Maricopa Indian Community's Casino Arizona is a team sponsor, and one source hinted that the name could be Talking Stick Arena (BIZJOURNALS.com, 12/1).

The signal is still up for Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic, Chicago, Bay Area and California as a short-term extension with Dish Network has been reached (THE DAILY).

Nissan today announced that it will air a spot during NBC's Feb. 1 Super Bowl XLIX broadcast, its first Super Bowl commercial since '97 (Nissan).

Baseball America named the Royals its Organization of the Year, marking the second time ('94) the team has earned the honor (Royals).
