Goodyear To Formally Announce Cotton Bowl Title Sponsorship

Goodyear, ESPN and the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association today will formally announce that the tire company is the bowl's new title sponsor, "a deal that's been rumored for weeks." The game will become the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, starting with the Jan. 1 contest at AT&T Stadium. Goodyear stepped in after AT&T "chose not to continue its sponsorship of the game." The bowl is one of the New Year's Six games included in the CFP semifinals rotation (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 11/7).
