Reports: NFL Refuting That Five Games Planned For London In '15

The NFL is refuting a London Daily Mail report that five games will be played in London next year, according to separate tweets from both ESPN’s Darren Rovell and the N.Y. Post’s Bart Hubbuch. The Daily Mail yesterday reported NFL officials "are bullish about the demand for extra matches in London and are confident they can fill Wembley for five games" (THE DAILY).

Meanwhile, as rumors persist that the NFL is looking to put a team in London full-time, CBS Sports Network’s Amy Trask said, “There are a lot of logistical challenges, but it certainly is something that the league is focused on. During all my last years with the league, it was a constant topic at league meetings. We're going to see more games there” (“The Other Pregame Show,” CBS Sports Network, 10/26).
