Cardinals "Beef Up" Security After Incident With Ferguson Protesters

The security presence at yesterday’s Cardinals-Dodgers NLDS Game 4 at Busch Stadium was “beefed up” following “an ugly scene involving protesters and Cardinals fans” on Monday night. A video showed Cardinals fans “yelling obscenities at the protesters.” The team had been in contact with MLB “in the wake of the Ferguson riots and added security personnel in and around the ballpark.” With the Cardinals advancing to the NLCS, the team is looking to “add even more security in anticipation of future protests” (N.Y. TIMES, 10/8).
