NBA BOG Approves Sale Of Bucks To Wesley Edens, Marc Lasry

The NBA BOG has unanimously approved the sale of the Bucks from Herb Kohl to Wesley Edens and Marc Lasry, with the transaction expected to close shortly (NBA). The league's action "allows Edens and Lasry to take control of the team before" Tuesday's NBA Draft Lottery. The team "has the highest odds to win the lottery for first pick" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 5/15). The status of GM John Hammond and coach Larry Drew "now must be decided by the new owners." Both have "two years remaining on their contracts" (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 5/16).

The team last night announced the BOG approval on its Twitter feed with the image below, showing (l to r) Lasry, Kohl and Edens (TWITTER.com, 5/15).
