Sacramento City Council Reacts Positively To Updated Arena Plan

The Sacramento City Council last night offered "mostly glowing reviews" of the city's plan to help finance a new NBA Kings arena. This comes after a report released Monday showed that the overall project cost has increased from $448M. The City Council is now expected to "approve the project's financing plan, development agreement and environmental report at its May 13 meeting" (SACRAMENTO BEE, 4/23).
