CapTech Ventures will be the title sponsor of the USA Cycling Collegiate Road Nationals being held May 2-4 in Richmond, Va. The event is "expected to attract about 400 athletes representing more than 100 colleges" (RICHMOND TIMES-DISPATCH, 4/4).

The Xavier men’s basketball team will tour Brazil for nine days this summer as part of an “athletic and cultural excursion featuring four exhibition games and the completion of a three-credit hour academic class” (CINCINNATI.com, 4/3).

Oakley has agreed to a partnership making it the official eyewear sponsor of Little League Baseball and Softball (Oakley).

NASCAR will not regulate tire pressure at Sunday’s Sprint Cup Series Duck Commander 500 at Texas Motor Speedway in an effort to “give more control over setups and strategy to race teams” (AP, 4/3).

ExxonMobil this month will begin converting NASCAR’s 65 fleet-and-service vehicles (and 16 generators) to Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy and Mobil Delvac 1 LE 5W-30. As part of this effort, ExxonMobil becomes an official partner of NASCAR Race To Green (ExxonMobil).
