AVP Formally Unveils Schedule, Announces Two-Year Deal With IMG

The AVP formally announced its '14 schedule, along with a two-year deal with IMG to manage event operations and assist in sales efforts. The schedule features seven tournaments across the U.S. from May-September, with six of the cities also on last year's schedule. The tour will also play this season in Milwaukee, at Bradford Beach, for the first time since '98 (AVP). Wasserman Media Group oversaw operations for five tour events and IMG oversaw two in '13. IMG Senior VP & Action Sports Dir James Leitz "will lead the effort" this year (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 3/24 issue).
