The Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl has "lost its title sponsor, but the game will remain" in St. Petersburg. A search will begin "immediately for a new title sponsor" of the ESPN-owned bowl game (WTSP.com, 1/7).

Sources said that the Dodgers "have reached an agreement on a contract extension" with manager Don Mattingly and that the deal "covers the next three seasons" (ESPNLA.com, 1/7).
