The NFL Panthers have scheduled an 11:00am ET press conference today to provide an update on renovations to Bank of America Stadium. The $87.5M in facility improvements covers new escalators and larger video boards, among other upgrades (Don Muret, Staff Writer).

The cost of London's Olympic Stadium has risen to more than US$951.7M, "most of it met by taxpayers, with the news that Balfour Beatty has been awarded" the US$252.7M contract to "transform the venue into one suitable" for soccer and track & field (GUARDIAN, 1/7).
