Titans' Succession Plan Keeps Team In Bud Adams' Family

Tommy Smith, son-in-law of late Titans Owner Bud Adams, is the team's new President & CEO, confirming previous speculation. Adams' daughters, Susie Adams Smith and Amy Adams Hunt, will serve as co-Chairs. Adams' grandson Kenneth Adams IV will join the BOD. Before Adams died, Smith had been "more involved in the organization through communication" with GM Ruston Webster, Exec VP Don MacLachlan and coach Mike Munchak (Nashville TENNESSEAN, 10/30).
