Laugh Track....Sky's The Limit

Red Bull-sponsored skydiver Jeb Corliss appeared on TBS' "Conan" last night, with host Conan O'Brien telling him, "You've done some crazy stuff and you've been badly hurt and I tell you, 'Don't do that anymore,' and then you go out and do it again." O'Brien said of Corliss' recent jump through a 20-foot crack in China's Mount Jianglang despite not having adequate time to practice because of weather conditions, "That's the point where I say if I'm in your shoes, 'Well, I guess we're not doing this, I'm going back to the hotel and having some soup.'" Corliss: "I definitely felt that way, that thought crossed my mind many times. I was incredibly terrified by this particular project." Corliss said if he had "gotten the practice jumps I was supposed to get, I would have deemed it unsafe and I wouldn't have gone in as deep as I did" ("Conan," TBS, 10/22).
