Kansas State Univ. Set To Unveil Upgrades To Football Stadium

Kansas State Univ. today will host a one-hour dedication ceremony for the newly renovated Bill Snyder Family Stadium, including the "unveiling of the final add-on to the West Stadium Center." The upgrades were projected to cost $75M but ended up costing closer to $90M, though KSU AD John Currie believes "that money was well spent." Currie: "A lot of the time when you are involved in a major construction like this you have to cut, cut, cut as you go and pay for steel and get into those sort of things" (K.C. STAR, 8/30).
