ISC Announces Plans For Mixed-Use Development Near Daytona HQs

ISC today announced it plans to move forward with a mixed-use and entertainment development near its HQs across the street from Daytona Int'l Speedway. The company signed a 50-50 joint-venture agreement with Atlanta-based developer Jacoby Development for the project, which will be called One Daytona. It also secured letters of intent from two anchor tenants, Bass Pro Shops and Cobb Theatres. It plans to move forward with the project in the next year.

The preliminary designs call for 1.1 million square feet of shopping, dining, hotel, movie theater and other space across from the speedway. ISC’s land-use entitlements allow for 660 hotel rooms, 1,350 residential units and a movie theater with 2,500 seats. In a statement, ISC CEO Lesa France Kennedy said, "Combined with the recently launched DAYTONA Rising project at the Speedway, we believe these efforts will strengthen our business while delivering an unprecedented boost to the region's prosperity for years to come."
