IMG Worldwide has acquired J. Patton Sports Marketing, a brand management firm that specializes in patented holographic security technologies and digital asset management. The firm will continue operations as JPatton and will become a unit under IMG’s Sports & Entertainment division (IMG).

Golden Boy Promotions and NCM Fathom Events have partnered to make the Sept. 14 Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Canelo Alvarez PPV bout “available at nearly 550 movie theaters across the country” (ESPN.com, 7/31).
