Redskins Open Training Camp In Richmond With Record Crowds

The Redskins drew 10,100 fans yesterday for the start of training camp in Richmond, Va. – 4,000 in the morning and 6,100 in the afternoon – the "largest opening attendance for a Redskins camp." The afternoon crowd "came with painted faces, heckled receivers who dropped passes and heartily booed the Dallas Cowboys fans who dared show up" (TIMESDISPATCH.com, 7/25).
