"Bryce Harper: A 20-Year-Old For The Ages?" -- Headline for a WASHINGTON POST column written by Mike Wise that compares the Nationals outfielder to various historical figures (WASHINGTON POST, 5/11).

"I'd have to say, if they had a driver who was an engineer that understood the race cars more than anybody else, or more than the average (driver), you'd think they would consider my opinion and my education. But I haven't seen that yet" -- NASCAR driver Ryan Newman, on the lack of response to issues that he has with restrictor-plate racing (ESPN.com, 5/10).

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown. SBJ’s Tom Friend also joins the show to share his insights into NBA viewership trends.
