No Word Yet On Future Of NBA Kings As League BOG Reconvenes

The NBA BOG will resume meetings today in N.Y., and they are "expected to conclude" this afternoon, with NBA Commissioner David Stern to "speak to the media" afterword. If there was anything decided on the future of the Kings, "no one said so publicly," as owners leaving the St. Regis Hotel "said little, if anything." It appears that for now, "the status remains quo, and that any decision is a good 2-3 weeks away" (SEATTLETIMES.com, 4/18).

The Sacramento Bee's Ryan Lillis on his Twitter feed cited a source close to Kings owners the Maloofs as saying the family has a "binding agreement w/the Seattle group & would prefer that agreement be approved by the league" (TWITTER.com, 4/18).
