EPL club Liverpool is preparing to offer former manager Kenny Dalglish "a return to his role as a club ambassador." Dalglish, who parted ways with the club last summer, had "filled a similar position prior to being reappointed as manager" in January '11 (London TELEGRAPH, 1/10).

Tyco is running an ad in today's N.Y. Times featuring Pro Football HOFer Steve Young endorsing the company's Integrated Security service (THE DAILY).

Cincinnati's Christian Moerlein Brewing Co. and the Flying Pig Marathon announced three new road races throughout the year. The March 2 Bockfest 5K, May 3 Little Kings Mile and Sept. 21 Hudepohl 14K & 7K Brewery Run will each benefit a local charity (BIZJOURNALS.com, 1/9).
