Stan Van Gundy Joins NBC's Coverage Of Navy-Marine Corps Classic

NBC Sports Group announced that former Magic coach Stan Van Gundy will join NBC Sports Network's coverage of the Nov. 9 Navy-Marine Corps Classic, a men's college basketball game pitting Georgetown against Florida on the deck of the USS Bataan docked in Jacksonville (NBC Sports Group).
Van Gundy will begin contributing NBA content on NBC Sports Radio syndicated programming in January and USA TODAY's Michael Hiestand writes NBC Sports Network, "in need of sizzle that would sear itself into more viewers' brains, should add more edgy voices such as Van Gundy's" (USA TODAY, 11/2).
