SB Nation Today Debuting Site Redesign, Complete With New Logos

SB Nation today is debuting a new overall site redesign, new logos for its network of more than 300 individual blogs and a new content management system making SB Nation much more optimized for mobile platforms. The updates, tagged "SB Nation United" by company officials, are designed to boost uniformity with regard to both content and ad sales.

"This has been a very ambitious undertaking, but it's something we think will create more consistency and discoverability across our whole network," said Jim Bankoff, Chair & CEO of SB Nation parent company Vox Media. "We think this helps a lot with overall branding, which admittedly has been disjointed in some spots between the individual blogs and SB Nation as a whole."

The new logos were created primarily by U.K.-based designer Fraser Davidson. SB Nation, meanwhile, is also embarking on a program to heighten the amount of long-form features on the network. The effort will be headed by Glenn Stout, series editor of "The Best American Sports Writing" anthologies.
