Stadium Execs Taking Part In White House Sustainability Event

Several major league execs are scheduled to participate in this morning's White House Event on Sports & Sustainability that is tied to President Obama’s Better Buildings Initiative, an effort to create more jobs by encouraging private investment to cut energy costs at commercial and industrial facilities. Pirates Chair Bob Nutting, MLB Cardinals VP/Stadium Operations Joe Abernathy and Mariners VP/Ballpark Operations Scott Jenkins, Eagles VP/Event Services & Operations Leonard Bonacci, Heat Operations Coordinator Jackie Ventura and NASCAR Green Innovation Managing Dir Mike Lynch will join senior Obama administration officials to celebrate green efforts at arenas and stadiums.
