Monster Numbers For MLB.com At Bat App As Spring Training Starts

MLBAM said the new release of its MLB.com At Bat mobile application was accessed by users 2.9 million times and delivered 450,000 live video and audio streams during the March 2-4 opening weekend of Spring Training games. The figures are up 132% and 83%, respectively, over the opening weekend of Spring Training games last year. The app, first released Feb. 29, now ranks as iTunes' top-grossing app for both the iPhone and iPad. MLB.com At Bat this year for the first time works on both devices from a single purchase.
