F1 Track In Austin To Announce Food Service Contract With Sodexo

Circuit of the Americas officials are expected to announce today that Sodexo has signed a long-term food service contract at the F1 track under construction in Austin. The Maryland-based company has a major presence in town at Univ. of Texas sports facilities. Sodexo operates concessions and premium dining at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium and Frank Erwin Center, the school’s football and basketball venues. The firm also manages food service at the Dell Diamond, home of the MLB Rangers’ Triple-A PCL affiliate in nearby Round Rock, Texas. The F1 track’s first event is a Nov. 16-18 Grand Prix race.
