ESPN and the Univ. of Texas yesterday formally unveiled the name and logo of the Longhorn Network, the new 24-hour TV outlet devoted to UT sports. The logo – to be used in printed, online and on-air mentions – incorporates the familiar Longhorns silhouette and UT orange color. Also launching yesterday was the informational site GetLonghornNetwork.com, which will serve as an initial resource for fans to learn more about where and how to get the net ahead of its August launch (Longhorn Network).
