USC Set To Host Agent Awareness, Education And Eligibility Summit

USC today will host an invitation-only conference "aimed at fostering a better understanding about issues regarding agents." The "Agent Awareness, Education and Eligibility Summit" will bring together reps from the NCAA, Pac-10, SEC, NFL, NFLPA and several agents. The event "appears to be the latest move by USC to demonstrate to the NCAA that it has adopted the 'culture of compliance' that Pat Haden pledged" when he became AD in August (L.A. TIMES, 2/8).

Haden will represent the university at the conference along with USC President Max Nikias, VP/Athletic Compliance David Roberts and Senior Associate AD Mark Jackson (ESPNLA.com, 2/7).
