FINAL JEOPARDY QUESTION

Last night's "Final Jeopardy!" category was "5-Letter Words."

LAUGH TRACK

THE MONOLOGUES:  NBC's Jay Leno: "The (IRS) mistakenly paid out more than $30(M) in refunds to black taxpayers who claimed a slavery credit on their taxes. ... What form do you fill out for that?  A slavery credit?  How old are these black taxpayers?  Let me tell you something, if you're 170 and you're still working, God bless you.  Get the credit!"  Leno: "Apparently, another video has surfaced (of Osama bin Laden).  I haven't seen the latest video, but let me guess.  He's standing in front of a big rock, threatening us.  Am I close? ... The Supreme Court ruled (yesterday) that virtual child pornography is legal.  Finally, some good news for the church.  As you know, the Pope has called all the U.S. Cardinals back to Rome, or as the Cardinals are calling it, Spring Break. ... According to (CA) researchers, male frogs that have been exposed to low doses of common weed killer can develop multiple sex organs.  That's one way to get guys to start doing yard work.  Multiple sex organs!  Look at how much trouble guys get into with just one."  Leno, on Pamela Anderson marrying Kid Rock: "Here's my question: If you're Kid Rock, do you even bother throwing a bachelor party?  I mean, Pamela Anderson pretty much is a bachelor party" ("Tonight Show," NBC, 4/16).

LATE NIGHT LAUGHS:  NBC's Conan O'Brien, on the heat wave sweeping the country: "It was so bad, it wiped out Mayor Bloomberg's marijuana crop."  Conan, on the new Osama Bin Laden video "He is dressed more casually, and is sitting by a mountain stream.  The odd part is that it's a Coors commercial" ("Late Night," NBC, 4/16).
