Cheap tickets available for Heat-Bucks with some stars injured

There are "many options still available" for tonight's Heat-Bucks Game 2 at Fiserv Forum, according to Drake Bentley of the MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL. As of last night, the "cheapest tickets are $29, while standing-room-only with no guaranteed view of the court tickets are available for $35." The cheapest ticket in the lower level was "going for about $79." Bucks F Giannis Antetokounmpo is currently listed as doubtful to play, while Heat G Tyler Herro is also out (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 4/19).

TRANSITION GAME? In D.C., Jerry Brewer writes the playoffs will be "both a wonderful and unfortunate mess." As the league "continues a lengthy transition to an undetermined new era, there is a greatness void among the contenders, but it has amplified a rare level of parity as graying superstars and teams clash with teething prodigies." The "problem is, it doesn’t seem the young, old and middle-aged can handle all the collisions." An "achy regular season is already turning into a postseason of pain." The NBA "couldn’t get through the first weekend" without Antetokounmpo, Herro and the Grizzlies G Ja Morant "going down." The injuries have "left an even stronger sense of uncertainty." Brewer: "Over the past 10 years, we’ve gotten unusually comfortable with the Golden State Warriors being able to win a round or two while missing a star, or [LeBron] James being able to carry his team through just about anything." The NBA is "in anticipation mode," but is it "nervously dreading the end of an era? Or is it excited to usher in a new one?" (WASHINGTON POST, 4/19). The AP's Teresa Walker wrote the injuries have "dimmed the start of this postseason with title hopes possibly fading just as quickly depending on how bad they’re hurt" (AP, 4/17).
