FORBES' Adam Zagoria noted car brand Peugeot, which has been one of tennis player Novak Djokovic's top sponsors since '14, has parted ways with him. Serbian journalist Sasa Ozmo reported Djokovic's "stance on vaccination is not the reason." Carlos Tavares, CEO of the Stellantis Group which owns Peugeot, confirmed to El Espanol, "No, we will not continue with the sponsorship of Djokovic." Peugeot originally said that it "had no intentions of dropping" Djokovic. In the wake of the Australian Open situation, clothing sponsor Lacoste initially "cast doubt on the future of their relationship, but nothing has officially changed" (FORBES.com, 3/1).

GOING DIGITAL: WOMENS WEAR DAILY's Obi Anyanwu noted tennis player Naomi Osaka is the "newest addition to battle royal game Fortnite, as part of their Icon Series." Last year, Epic Games added LeBron James to Fortnite through the same series. Osaka joins the game with two new outfits "inspired by her heritage and designed with the help from her sister, Mari." Gamers can apply the outfits on their in-game characters beginning tomorrow at 7:00pm ET (WWD.com, 2/28).

BRAND NEW DAY: GOLF.com's Jonathan Wall noted golfer Jason Day agreed to terms on a "ball-only deal" with Bridgestone Golf. Day became an equipment free agent in '20. He joins a Bridgestone Tour staff that currently includes Tiger Woods, Bryson DeChambeau, Fred Couples, Matt Kuchar and Lexi Thompson (GOLF.com, 3/1).
