Sports Industry Report: Who Voted, What Leaders Stood Out In '20?

In a year unlike any other, our annual reader survey is unlike any of the previous 15 editions. It has a new name -- the Sports Industry Report -- and a new mission: to learn from you about the two momentous events that shaped this year, the COVID-19 pandemic and the sharp rise of social justice awareness. Alongside some familiar questions are others we’ve never asked before and hopefully won’t have to again: What impact has the pandemic had on your budget? How many fans will we see at events in 2021? Appropriately, this year also saw record voter turnout for the survey, conducted by MarketCast. See more in this week's issue of SBJ. Today, THE DAILY highlights data on the survey's voters and leadership during the pandemic.

SBJ Morning Buzzcast: May 31, 2024

Friday quick hits; Skipper/Levy behind Unrivaled, to launch in '25 around 3x3 concept; basketball and pickleball show big participation growth in U.S.

ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne shares what went into executive producing her upcoming FX mini-series, "Clipped," about the Donald Sterling saga, and SBJ's Mollie Cahillane joins to tell us who's up and who's down in sports media.
