Russell Wilson's Business Portfolio Continues To Grow, Diversify

Wilson and his wife Ciara now have investments in the Sounders and the Portland Diamond ProjectRUSSELL WILSON

Seahawks QB RUSSELL WILSON "wants to build a business empire around his athletic one," and his "ambitions are unlimited," according to Larry Stone of the SEATTLE TIMES. Wilson, along with his wife, CIARA, have "become minority owners" of the Sounders, in addition to their investment in the Portland Diamond Project, which seeks to bring MLB to the Pacific Northwest. Wilson also has a "long-standing involvement as a partner" in entrepreneur CHRIS HANSEN's arena project in the SoDo neighborhood of Seattle, as well as West2East, his production company, and Good Man Brand, a "high-end clothing retailer." He also launched Limitless Minds, a startup with his mental coach, TREVOR MOAWAD, and his brother, HARRY WILSON, which "sells training and consulting services to companies." Wilson is Founder & Chair of Tally, a "sports-prediction app," with Amazon CEO JEFF BEZOS and YouTube co-Founder CHAD HURLEY as investors. He also has his Why Not You Foundation charity. The "scope of Wilson's off-field ventures can be mind-boggling" (SEATTLE TIMES, 8/16). Wilson called his investment in the Sounders "pretty exciting." He said, "When I got here in 2012, I used to go to Sounders games all the time and it was always cool to watch them play" ("SportsCenter," ESPN, 8/19).
