Barbour on Thursday said that she is "hoping to work" toward an extension. GIVING BACK: Former Indiana Univ. football player TERRY TALLEN donated $2M to the school's football program, which will be used to "renovate the program’s locker room facilities at Memorial Stadium" (INDYSTAR.com, 4/20)....Big Ten Commissioner JIM DELANY and his family have given $1M to the Univ. of North Carolina for scholarships. The $1M gift includes $750,000 to "create the Jim and Kitty Delany Endowment Fund for the Carolina Covenant scholarship, designed for low-income students to graduate from UNC debt free."
