The NFL named former Fox Sports Digital Senior VP/Digital Production MARK PESAVENTO VP/Digital Content where he will oversee content on the NFL’s digital properties and social media platforms. Pesavento left Fox in July, after Fox Sports switched its digital focus to a video-heavy format. Pesavento will be based in the NFL’s Culver City office and report to Senior VP/Digital Media DAVID JURENKA. Previously, he held senior positions with USA Today Sports Media Group and Yahoo Sports (Ourand & Karp, THE DAILY).

SCHOOL TIES: Learfield named MATT RYAN Senior Manager of Business Development for Tar Heel Sports Properties. Ryan will be based in Charlotte, having served the past six years with Learfield's team in Chicago representing the Big Ten Conference (THE DAILY).....The Univ. of Illinois named Auburn Associate AD CASSIE ARNER Associate AD/Marketing, Fan Development & Strategic Communications (UI).

EXECS: The Harlem Globetrotters named IMG College Dir of Sales for Georgia Tech PHIL MCCARN VP/Global Partnership Marketing (Globetrotters)....American Airlines Center promoted Dir of Guest Services GINA CHAPA to VP/Guest Experience (THE DAILY)....The NBPA named ELLE HAGEDORN Senior Manager of Media Relations & Communications (THE DAILY)....The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association named Caterpillar VP/Marketing & Digital GEORGE TAYLOR CEO.
