Don't Forget About Us: Ujiri Upset About Raptors' Lack Of U.S. National Broadcasts

The Raptors play the Cavaliers tonight on TNT, and team President Masai Ujiri said it is a "bunch of BS" that the team does not have more games broadcast nationally in the U.S., according to Emily Sadler of SPORTSNET.ca. Ujiri during an appearance yesterday on Toronto-based CJCL-AM's "Prime Time Sports" said, "We don’t play as many of the so-called ESPN games, why is that? We’ve had one of the best records the last five years in the league so I don’t understand why the NBA does not ... give us more games." The Raptors enter tonight's game with a 28-11 record, second-best in the Eastern Conference. Ujiri said the lack of national broadcasts "doesn’t bother" him personally, though it bothers him "for our fans, for our organization, for our players" (SPORTSNET.ca, 1/10). Tonight's game marks the Raptors' only scheduled appearance on TNT. The team this season has four games on ESPN and seven on NBA TV (THE DAILY).
