Buyers & Sellers: Former Knicks President Phil Jackson Finds Buyer For Manhattan Apartment

PHIL JACKSON has "found a buyer" for his apartment at the Osborne in midtown Manhattan. Jackson's two-bedroom, three-bathroom co-op was "last asking" $4.95M. The apartment "features hand-carved mahogany paneling and intricately inlaid oak and cherry floors." The 33-foot-long living room is "framed by woodburning fireplaces and contains stained glass and bay windows" (NYPOST.com, 1/3).

GAME, SET, MATCH: Tennis HOFer ANDY RODDICK and his wife BROOKLYN DECKER have "finally waved goodbye" to their North Carolina home after a year-and-a-half on the market. The couple accepted a $2.35M offer for their four-bedroom mountain retreat in Cashiers, about 165 miles from Charlotte, a "slight comedown" from the $3M they were originally seeking. The house, set on "close to three acres, was custom-built" for them in '13 and is "surrounded by rivers and waterfalls with views of the Blue Ridge and Appalachian mountains" (WWD.com, 1/5).

BUYERS & SELLERS: Dodgers P KENLEY JANSEN has bought a home in Palos Verdes Estates, Calif., for $6.5M. The home "includes three levels of living space, multiple balconies and an attached three-car garage." Within 6,900 square feet of interior space lies "coffered-ceilinged living and dining rooms, a center-island kitchen, a wood-paneled den, five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms." Outdoors there is "ample patio space, a fire pit and a slate-edged swimming pool with a raised spa." The barbecue station is "equipped with two grills and bench seating" (LATIMES.com, 12/28)....NFL free agent G ORLANDO FRANKLIN has sold his home in the Poway area north of downtown San Diego for $1.5M. Records show Franklin "bought the property two years ago" for $1.85M. The sale price was $395,000 less than the $1.895M Franklin "sought when he relisted" the house in April. The single-story house has "five bedrooms, five bathrooms and slightly more than 6,500 square feet of interior space." Outside there is a "free-form swimming pool, a fire pit and built-in barbecue island." Tropical plantings, lawns and a horseshoe pit "fill out the one-plus-acre of grounds" (LATIMES.com, 1/3).
