CAA Invests In Entertainment Benefits Group, Folds In Corporate Hospitality Entity

CAA has made an equity investment in Entertainment Benefits Group and will fold its existing corporate hospitality business into EBG as part of the agreement. Financial terms of CAA's investment in EBG, a privately-held travel and entertainment provider in the U.S., were not disclosed. Under the new deal, CAA's Premium Experience will become part of EBG, effective immediately. CAA previously built Premium Experience through the rollup acquisitions of high-end hospitality firms, Inside SEG, Goviva and Beyond Sports & Entertainment in '14 and '15. EBG President & CEO Brett Reizen will oversee the combined business. The executives of the former Premium Experience will become employees of EBG. EBG is based in Miami, but has offices in N.Y., Orlando and Las Vegas and employs 470 people. CAA's Premium Experience employed upwards of 50, who will continue to work in N.Y., but will now report to EBG's existing senior management. EBG will now lead the Premium Experience group’s exclusive hospitality partnerships with MLB, the NBA and NHL.
