    Panthers QB Cam Newton yesterday laughed and said it was "funny to hear a female talk about routes" when asked a question by beat writer Jourdan Rodrigue, according to Scott Fowler of the CHARLOTTE OBSERVER. Newton "punctuated the remark with a couple of exaggerated smiles." Rodrigue, who works for the Observer, following the news conference asked Newton if he "really didn’t think a female could understand routes."
