The Web.com Tour, the development tour of the PGA, has collaborated with ActionStreamer and SOLOSHOT, Inc. at the Web.com Tour Championship to help bring fans exclusive access to the event at the Atlantic Beach Country Club that starts Thursday.

ActionStreamer, a wireless wearable live-streaming platform that has also provided its products to Arena Football League teams, will be featured at the Web.com Tour in a variety of ways.

A HatCam and ClipCam will be worn by players during practice rounds and caddies and other Tour personnel during competition. A flag cam will be placed on the middle of the flagstick to capture action on the course, and a FlagCam360 will be on top of the flagstick to capture 360-degree footage. A ClubCam will be affixed to a putter and used by players during practice rounds and at the practice range.

SOLOSHOT, Inc., a robotic camera technology company, will be utilized at the Tour via the SOLOSHOT 3 — the newest robot cameraman that pans, tilts and zooms automatically to keep the subject in the frame from up to 2,000 feet away in up to 4k video.

“The Web.com Tour is committed to innovation in the presentation of our competition and enhancing the experience for our fans,” Web.com Tour president Dan Glod said in a statement. “We are excited to collaborate with ActionStreamer and SOLOSHOT, Inc. at the Web.com Tour Championship. We believe this is a great platform to showcase our culminating event and we will continue to explore opportunities like this in the future.”

The Web.com Tour Championship is played through Oct. 1 and will feature the top-75 money winners at the end of the Web.com Tour regular season and also the PGA Tour players who finish 126-200 on the FedExCups points. The Web.com Tour Championship will award 50 PGA TOUR cards.
