Overnight Ratings: NBC Up For Final Round Of PGA Tour Dell Technologies Championship

NBC earned a 2.2 overnight rating for yesterday’s final round of the Dell Technologies Championship in Boston, which saw Justin Thomas earn his fifth win of the season by outlasting Jordan Spieth by three shots. The rating is up 37% from a 1.6 for Rory McIlroy’s two-shot win last year over Paul Casey and 2% from the '15 final round. Yesterday's rating peaked at a 2.8 between 5:30-6:00pm ET. Meanwhile, Sunday's third round on NBC drew a 1.82 overnight. That marked the best non-major, non-Players round 3 on the PGA Tour since the WGC-Mexico Championship in March drew a 1.86. Sunday's rating also was the best for a FedExCup Playoffs round 3 since the '15 Deutsche Bank Championship drew a 2.0.
