Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment President & CEO JEFF KNAPPLE has "relinquished his title" after "making the decision to get married and relocate" from N.Y. to L.A. Knapple will "retain his position" as Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment President of Team & Venue Services. Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment COO JOHN MASSONI now takes over as President & CEO (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 7/31 issue).

BACK TO SCHOOL: NYU’s School of Professional Studies has named VINCE GENNARO as its new associate dean and honorary clinical associate professor of its Tisch Institute for Sports Management, Media and Business. Gennaro most recently was director of the sports management graduate program at Columbia Univ. With the move to NYU, Gennaro will enlarge his focus into undergraduate and professional level education as opposed to merely graduate level courses, and develop an expansion plan for the Tisch Institute. “NYU has become a real force, with an international footprint, and I believe I can elevate it further,” Gennaro said. NFL Giants co-Owner JONATHAN TISCH participated in the search process for the associate dean position. Gennaro also works as a consultant to MLB teams, is president of the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR), and hosts a weekly baseball show on SiriusXM Radio (Eric Fisher, Staff Writer).

EXECS: Callaway Golf promoted Senior VP/General Counsel & Corporate Secretary BRIAN LYNCH to CFO. Lynch, who joined Callaway in '99, will also continue in his current role (Callaway)....Toyota named two execs to oversee its global Olympic sponsorship in North America. CHRIS SCHULTZ, GM of its N.Y. and Denver regions, will become GM of Olympic-Paralympic marketing. He will report to Toyota North America Group VP of Marketing ED LAUKES. Also joining as group manager of Olympic-Paralympic marketing is DEDRA DELILLI, who built TD Ameritrade's first sports sponsorship team and helped secure its U.S. Olympic Committee and NFL deals (Ben Fischer, Staff Writer)....Kansas-based executive search firm Snodgrass Partners named former George Mason AD and NCAA Basketball Committee Chair TOM O'CONNOR VP/Collegiate Sports (Snodgrass)....Arnie's Army Charitable Foundation named Magic Dir of Corporate Partnership Sales CHRIS KOLODINSKY Chief Development Officer (AACF).
